People ask “why can’t I see my guides?” or “why can’t I see spirit?” and so forth. The answer is simple its all about belief. Now I am sure you are saying right about now “but I do believe”. And I will say right back “you probably have expectations about what things should look like and you probably have deep down beliefs about what is real and what is not.”

Its okay to be a little skeptical however even a little doubt can be a big stumbling block to intuitiveness and the like. I can honestly tell you I reached the stage where I had to believe what I was experiencing was real the alternative was to believe I was insane. Once I let go of any expectations and beliefs I may have held in regards to intuitiveness and spirits etc it flowed naturally. But it had to be a deep seated knowing there was something more to this world than I was seeing.

So if you want to connect to your guides or spirit or animal totems or angels first you have to let go of what you believed to true and allow things to come into your life in the form they want to and maybe not as the image you have in your mind of how they should look.
