Support and encouragement is saying âYou can do it I believe in you.â It is okay to help someone to their feet but you do not honor their Spirit if you discount their ability to walk on their own We can be overcome by our desire to do the ârightâ thing and suddenly it is all about our âgoodnessâ not their issues. The buts always enter at this point, âbut he doesnât know how toâŚ.â then teach him.â But he doesnât know what to doâŚ..â then guide him. âBut he will end upâŚ..âno one learns having never made a mistake. A child does not learn to walk by being held up, it learns by falling over, picking itself up and trying again.
